Crazy for Cabs

crazyforcabsThis Tuesday Tasting (Sept 19) we cruise 3 fun Cabs that show why this versatile grape is still America’s most popular red. Featuring:

  • King Rabbit, France – Despite its funky, modern label, this medium-bodied cab is made in an old-world style: filled with red fruit and black pepper flavors, and appropriately, a touch of barnyard earthiness. $11 btl, $6 btg
  • Trim, CA – Made by famed Napa winemaker Ray Signorello, this elegant cab delivers high-quality flavor at an affordable price point, a rich ruby Cab balanced with just a touch of Malbec and Merlot for aromas of black cherry and currant with elegant oak touches and a dusty graphite finish. $14 btl, $7 btg
  • Cosentino, CA – We’re big fans of this Lodi Winery’s rich reds and its “The Cab” is another winner: dark and inky, it tastes of lush flavors of black currants and plum, dried cherries, and a touch of sandalwood and roasted coffee. $16 btl, $8 btg

Tasting: $12
