This Tuesday Tasting we’re excited to share 3 new Italian wines that are fantastico! Featuring:
- La Giustiniani Gavi di Gavi—This big, round Piedmont wine may make you rethink Italian whites: made from 100% Cortese grapes, it tastes of stone fruits, fresh apples and minerals with a soft, full-bodied mouth feel. $23 btl, $9 btg
- Koine Salice Salentino Riserva – Made from the Negroamaro grape grown on the boot of Italy, this silky, elegant red tastes of dark cherries and dried berries, with a touch of cigar box and minerality. $16 btl, $7 btg
- Visconti della Rocca Montepulciano Reserva – This aged Montepulciano from Abruzzo in central Italy knocked our socks off with its rich flavours of dark blueberries and black plums, earthy notes and mocha, with a long, spicy finish. $15 btl, $7 bg
