Pinots with Panache

pinotspanacheThis Tuesday Tasting (Oct 1) we try 3 stylish Pinots that highlight why California is such a trendsetter for this varietal. Featuring:

  • Rickshaw – Showcasing the sun of the Sonoma Coast, this sustainably farmed red tastes of wild blackberry, blueberry and cherry combined with a touch of black tea and earth. $14 btl, $7 btg
  • Folly of the Beast – This Central Coast Pinot benefits from cool coastal breezes to produce bright rich fruit that is partially aged in new French oak for flavours of red cherry, a hint of clove and just a touch of cedar. $18 btl, $8 btg
  • Steele – This Carneros Pinot has been called “the Pinot-lover’s Pinot” for good reason: bright strawberry and cherry flavours combine with hints of cola and tea with just a touch of oak and long, pleasing finish. $24 btl, $9 btg

Tasting: $13
