This Tuesday Tasting (Nov 5) we try 3 fun and tasty wines from Spain. Featuring:
- Cune Monopole Blanco Rioja – This white Rioja made from 100% Viura grapes is hand harvested at optimum ripeness to showcase the seductive floral notes and fresh tropical fruit flavours of the grape. $15 btl, $7 btg
- Montana Crianza – This red Rioja is aged for 12 months in French oak to create a nice balance between the rich fruit flavors of Tempranillo (raspberry, blackberry and black plum) with an added touch of spice and chocolate. $17 btl, $8 btg
- Precious Syrah – A Spanish Syrah aged in Pappy van Winkle barrels? You have to try this! Even without the extra PvW kick, this is a phenomenally good Syrah that combines rich blueberry and blackberry flavors with a hint of violet and vanilla and a soft, toasty finish. $24 btl, $9 btg
