intlpinotTues – Thurs Tasting
Jan 12 – Jan 14

This week we taste three classic reds from Europe. Featuring:

  • Duca Di Saragnano Chianti, Italy – Cherry, plum, and a touch of leather combine with pleasant floral notes in this easy-drinking Sangiovese (blended with a small amount of native varietals) from Tuscany. $11 btl, $6 btg
  • Chateau Briot Bordeaux Rouge, France – This rich garnet blend (70% Cab, 30% Merlot) is sustainably farmed and aged in a combination of French oak and steel tanks to highlight ripe flavours of red and black berries with a hint of toasted walnut and vanilla on the finish. $15 btl, $7 btg
  • Dacu Tempranillo, Ribera del Guadiana, Spain – This vineyard located along the border of Portugal dedicates itself entirely to growing and making Tempranillo wines, with tasty results! Blueberry and boysenberry combine with a touch of pepper and smoke in this rich red with a long, elegant finish. $14 btl, $6 btg
