Weekly Wine Tasting
Feb 9-14
This week in honor of both Valentine’s Day and Mardi Gras we celebrate with three fun California sparklings sure to put a little sunshine in your day! Featuring:
- Chandon Blanc de Noir – This “white from black” wine is an elegant clear sparkling made only from dark skinned grapes (Pinot Noir and Pinot Meunier) resulting in a full-bodied, fruit-filled wine tasting of red cherry, currants and strawberry with a soft, lingering creamy texture. $24 btl, $8 btg
- Angels and Cowboys Brut Rosé – This new sparkling from the makers of the popular rosé is made in methode champenoise and aged on the lees for 12 months; a delicate blend of Pinot Noir, Chard and Pinot Meunier with just a hint of color, it’s filled with ripe notes of red raspberry, strawberry and watermelon with a crisp twist of key lime on the finish. $21 btl, $8 btg
- Ultraviolet Sparkling Rosé – The name says it all! Big and bold, this sparkling rosé made from Cab Franc has aromas of lemon blossoms and strawberry, and tastes of tart berries, cherries, peach and orange with a touch of ruby red grapefruit and minerality on the finish. $18 btl, $7 btg
Tasting: $14
Plus, we’ll be doing a special Chocolate, Fruit & Cheese Board to pair with the tasting (or to go!) for $9 – treat a loved one… or just treat yourself!
