South American Wines

argentinianwineryWeekly Wine Tasting: Tues, Mar 30 – Thurs, Apr 1

This week we hop on board the Patagonia express to try 3 very different wines from the southern tip of the Americas. Featuring:

  • Zolo Signature White, Argentina – One of our favorite warm-weather sippers: the hint of bubbles that occurs naturally in this white made of Torrontes, Sauvignon Blanc and Chardonnay helps balance out the rich tropical fruit and floral flavors of the grapes to create a light, bright white. $13 btl, $6 btg
  • Zuccardi Series A Malbec, Uco Valley, Argentina – This highly ranked organic red exemplifies the beauty of Mendoza Malbecs: vibrant fruit flavors of blueberry and blackberry are balanced with velvety softness and a touch of oak. $16 btl, $7 btg
  • Viña Maitia Roto, Central Valley, Chile – More than a pretty package, this organic Cab from French winemaker David Marcel is blended with just a touch of Syrah to create a juicy, fruit forward red tasting of mulberry and plum with a hint of floral and clove on the nose. $13 btl, $6 btg

Tasting: $12
