Mad About Malbecs!

MadMalbecs2Our Tuesday Tasting on March 3will strike a chord with all you rich red drinkers as we feature 3 fantastic malbecs:

  • Chateau Vincens L’Instant Malbec, France – Grown in the Cahors region (home to the majority of France’s malbec grapes), the Vincens family has been known for its award-winning malbecs for almost 100 years, and L’Instant is good reason why: tasting of dark fruit with hint of earth and minerals, this is an elegant yet affordable example of how the French do malbecs.
  • Angulo Innocenti “La Consulta” Malbec, Argentina – Grown at 3,500 feet in the Mendoza region and fermented in stainless steel, the combination of warm days and cool nights result in a dark black fruity red, tempered by softness and a bit of acidity.
  • Terrazas de los Andes Reserva Malbec, Argentina – Consistently ranking 90+ points with Stephen Tanzer and other international critics, this ruby-red from the Mendoza region is aged 12 months in oak to produce rich flavors of plum, currant, tobacco, chocolate and smoke.
