We’re excited to kick off our spring tastings with this lineup of 3 great rosés from 3 different countries:
- Calcu, Chile—This exciting rosé from central Chile is made from malbec (the grape that had made the region famous), syrah and petit verdot resulting in a more acidic rosé tasting of tart berries, minerals and citrus.
- Red Car, California—Following in the footsteps of the 2013 vintage which earned a whopping 93 from Wine Enthusiast, this biodynamic Sonoma Coast rosé is made from 100% pinot noir, pressed as whole clusters then fermented to a dry finish. The results? An elegant rosé tasting of tangerine and cherries with a touch of pink grapefruit.
- La Morette, Italy—A big, rich rosé from Bardolino, Italy made from corvina, rondinella and molinar that tastes of peaches, cherries and strawberries with a creamy mouth feel and smooth finish.
