Weekly Wine Flight: Tues, Feb 1 – Thurs, Feb 3
Featuring 3 classic Italian wines from 3 different regions.
- Cantina Ostro Pinot Nero Spumante, Friuli – Made from 100% Pinot Noir grown at the foothills of the Alps, this light blush is hand harvested and undergoes Charmat fermentation to create a crisp bubbly with flavors of red currant, strawberries, light citrus and more than a touch of minerality from the glacial soils. $8 btg, $16 btl
- Grasso Fratelli Barbera d’Alba, Langhe, Piedmont – For more than 50 years the Grasso brothers have focused on farming and making classic Barberas and it shows! This deep violet red tastes of black cherry, dark plum, and raspberry with notes of baking spices and vanilla with a smooth tannic finish. $9 btg, $18 btl
- Biondi-Santi ‘Sassoalloro’, Tuscany – From the acclaimed winemaking family credited with inventing Brunello, this Super Tuscan made from 100% Sangiovese is aged in non-toasted barriques for 16 months to create a dark, velvety red with aromas of dried flowers and herbs and rich flavours of black cherry, plum, tobacco and a hint of earth. *Aging potential 15-20 yrs. $14 btg, $34 btl
Tasting: $15

Is there a certain time for the tasting and do we need a reservation?
Thanks so much!
Hi Christina, we run the weekly flights all evening and no need for a reservation. We usually offer a different flight every week (last week was South American Reds, next week may be postponed due to Valentine’s Day events, but planning a French on for the 3rd week in Feb and possible a Pinot Noir one after that…) We post here on our website and on our Facebook page what the upcoming flight will be. Hope you to see you sometime!
