A Taste of Spain

Weekly Wine Flight: Tues, Mar 8 – Thurs, Mar 10

This week we try 3 different wines from 3 different regions of Spain. Featuring:

  • Las Campanas Rosé, Navarra – This delicate blush grown along the northern coast of Spain is made from 100% hand-picked Garnacha fermented under cold temperatures to highlight the delicate fruit flavors of the grape. The result is a soft, elegant blush tasting of peach, red berries, and blood orange with a clean finish. $6 btg, $12 btl
  • Zinio, Rioja – This 100% Tempranillo aged for 14 months in a blend of French & American oak makes for a smooth, dry, medium-bodied red tasting of strawberry and plum with notes of cinnamon, smoke and mocha. $8 btg, $16 btl
  • Can Blau, Montsant – Made by the Gil Family, this red blend from a vineyard in Montsant (bordering Priorat in Catalonia) is made of Mazuelo (Carignan), Syrah, and Garnacha and is aged in French oak to create a rich, complex red tasting of black cherry, black plum, savory spices and touches of incense and dried herbs. $8 btg, $15 btl

Tasting: $12
