Weekly Wine Flight: Tues, Mar 29 – Thurs, Mar 31

From Armenia to Corsica to Lebanon, this week we try 3 unique wines from 3 unique regions.

  • Terra Santa Ile de Beaute Blanc, Corsica  – This bright white from the island of Corsica is driven by the native varietal Vermentino and offers  lively flavours of lemon zest, honeysuckle, quinine and tangerine. $7 btg, $14 btgl
  • Shofer Rose, Armenia – Sourced from a century old vineyard in Vayots Dzor (along the border of Azerbaijin) from the indigenous grape Areni, this highly aromatic blush has notes of candied cherry and strawberry with spices and herbs (think Turkish delight!). $8 btg, $20 btl
  • Massaya Le Colombier Rouge, Bekaa Valley, Lebanon – This blend of Cencibel (a Tempranillo clone), Grenache and Cinsault makes for an easy-drinking, warm-weather red tasting of ripe red berries and red plums with hints of spice and pepper. $9 btg, $21 btl

Tasting: $12
