Savory Passover Brisket Recipe

Preheat oven to 325°F (165°C).

Season brisket with salt, pepper, and garlic powder.

Sear brisket on both sides in a hot skillet with oil until browned.

Place brisket in a roasting pan

Mix onion soup mix with water and pour over brisket.

Cover tightly with foil and roast for 3-4 hours, until tender.

 Remove foil and continue roasting for another 30 minutes for a caramelized exterior.
