More Rad Rosés

glasses-of-roseAs warm weather sets in, a new batch of rosés land, featuring a fun variety of grapes from 3 very different regions:

  • L’Acote Coteaux Varois, France – This classic blush from Provence exemplifies the famous flavour profile of the region: Grenache, Syrah and Cinsault combine to create soft summer tastes of strawberry, peach and cream, with a touch of citrus and a clean mineral finish. $12 btl, $6 btg
  • Y Rousseau Rosé of Tannat, California – This Russian River rosé is made from a rare red grape (Tannat, which originated in France but is now grown predominately in Uruguay) to create a beautiful copper-pink colored wine tasting of stone fruits (think nectarines, peach and plum) with a touch of bitter lemon zest. $20 btl, $8 btg
  • Viejo Feo Pinot Noir Rosé, Chile – Another surprising find, this bright pink from Chile is made from 100% Pinor Noir and packs quite a punch of rich red berry, cherry and melon flavours but has a surprisingly clean, dry finish that makes for a great glass on its own (or paired with seafood, salads and pork). $14 btl, $7 btg

Tasting: $11
