This Tuesday Tasting we try 3 exciting new Pinot Noirs with very unique styles and flavors. Featuring:
- Tudor Wines “The Highlands Project”, CA – Grown in the Santa Lucia Highlands, this hand-made, flavorful Pinot is ripe with rich red berries, strong herbal notes (think eucalyptus and anise) and even a surprising hint of white pepper
- Chalk Hill, CA – This consistently well ranked Pinot from the Sonoma Coast strikes the perfect balance of fruit and spices: summer strawberry and cherry combine with soft oriental spices, a touch of dust, and a long-silky finish
- Elouan, OR – Not your usual Oregon Pinot, this rich ruby red combines red plum, cherry and cranberry with earth, sweet tobacco and more than a touch of vanilla for a long-lasting ripe red.
