sparklings_redwhiteroseThis Tuesday Tasting we end the year with a bang (pop and fizz!) featuring 3 festive sparkling wines in white, rose and red that are perfect for the holiday season.

  • ‘Cote Mas’ Cremant de Limoux Brut, France —This sparkling from the Languedoc region is made in the traditional méthode champenoise (secondary fermentation in the bottle) to create as subtle, creamy bubbly that tastes of golden apples, pear and a touch of warm croissant.
  • Deligeroy Crémant de Loire Rosé, France – This soft sparkling from the Loire Valley is again made in the traditional method for an elegant, fruit filled sparkling tasting of cherry, peach and strawberry with a touch of vanilla cream.
  • DeMarie Birbet, Italy – This sparkling red made from the Brachetto grape exudes aromas of black raspberry and black cherry with notes of clove and violets and is a traditional celebratory wine in Italy for birthdays and holidays, drunk on its own or mixed with vermouth for a holiday cocktail!
