This Tuesday we kick off our first Tasting of 2018 with three new (and delicious!) reds. Featuring:
- Lomas del Valle Pinot Noir, Chile – Grown in the Casablanca Valley (stretching between the Andes and the Pacific), where the cool ocean winds add flavor to this delicate grape, this Pinot is filled with bright fruit flavors (think ripe red cherry and raspberry) with a touch of earth and gingerbread spice. $17 btl, $8 btg
- Belasco de Baquedano “Llama” Malbec, Argentina – Harvested from 100-year-old vines in the foothills of the Andes, this 100% Malbec is aged for 6 months in French oak to create a dark cherry red with flavors of blackberry, plum and toasted oak. $14 btl, $7 btg
- Truchard “The Shepherd” Red Blend, California – From the famous Napa Valley winemakers, this complex red blend exemplifies the family’s craft: Zinfandel, Syrah and Tempranillo, combine to create both a bold and elegant red tasting of black cherry, raspberry jam, with a bit of Indian spices. $20 btl, $8 btg
