This Tuesday Tasting we stay warm with some new big-bodied whites. Featuring:
- Merieau “Les Hexagonales”, France – A surprisingly big Sauvignon Blanc from France, this white grown in Touraine is ripe and herby with green vegetal flavors balanced by crisp citrus notes that don’t overwhelm. $15 btl, $7 btg
- Bonny Doon “Gravitas”, California – This Bordeaux style blend made from Semillon and Sav Blanc has a small splash of Orange Muscat that adds a pleasant softness to this round, layered white tasting of figs, melon and minerals. $19 btl, $8 btg
- Imagery, California – This combination of Chardonnay and Chenin Blanc balanced with a touch of subtle oak makes for a creamy, but elegant white tasting of apple, pear and lime with a touch of acid on the finish. $14 btl, $7 btg
