Rebel Rosés

This Tuesday Tasting (June 12) we try three rosés that really stand out from the crowd. Featuring:

  • Mulderbosch – This full-bodied rosé from South Africa is made from 100% Cabernet Sauvignon and has become so popular for its rich cherry, black currant and sandalwood flavors the vineyard has replanted its other grapes in order to specialize in it alone. $13 btl, $6 btg
  • Gouguenheim Sparkling – A sparkling Malbec from Argentina? Yes please! This high-altitude vineyard in Mendoza combines old-vine grapes and French winemaking to offer up a delicate bubbly tasting of cherries and strawberries with a touch of acid and mineral on the finish. $13 btl, $6 btg
  • Pamplune – How can a French rosé stand out from the crowd? By making the French tradition of wine and juice cocktails one of the hottest new rosé trends – combining natural fruit juice (Grapefruit) with the fresh peach, cream and mineral flavours of a Provence rosé for a juicy mouthful with just a bit of bite. $12 btl, $6 btg
