This Tuesday Tasting (Apr 23) we try three very different Cabs from very different regions. Featuring:
- Silver Totem, Washington – This Columbia Valley Cab is perfect for springtime: Ripe fruit flavours of blackberry and cherry combine with herbs, cedar and spice complemented by soft tannins for a long, silky finish. $16 btl, $8 btg
- Bonanza, California – Chuck Wagner of Caymus makes this multi-vintage Cab for easy, everyday drinking: Medium-bodied with notes of blueberry, blackberry and currant finished with a touch of vanilla and toasted bread. $16 btl, $8 btg
- Medalla Real, Chile – This Chilean Cab has been earning high accolades for good reason – striking a great balance between dark fruit flavours (black plum and berry), rich earthy notes and just a touch of green herbs and peppers it manages to create a full-bodied, elegant mouthful without being overwhelming. $14 btl, $7 btg
