This Tuesday Tasting (June 11) we gear up for summer weather with three refreshing white wines made to beat the heat. Featuring:
- Pierre Amadieu Côtes du Rhône Blanc, France – Flavours of peach, pear and gooseberry are balanced with the nice acidity of grapefruit and lemon zest in this blend of Grenache Blanc and Clairette. $13 btl, $6 btg
- Terra Santa Ile de Beaute Blanc, France – A bright blend from the island of Corsica, Vermentino and Chardonnay combine to offer lively flavours of lemon zest, honeysuckle, quinine and tangerine. $14 btl, $7 btg
- MAN Chenin Blanc, South Africa – South Africa’s most popular white grape shines in this “free-run” (unpressed) wine: crisp and clean tasting of fresh stone fruit, green apple, quince and an a nice squeeze of citrus and minerality on the finish. $11 btl, $6 btg
