All American: Red, White and Blu…bbles

july4This Tuesday Tasting (July 2) we try 3 American sippers that will pair well with all your 4th of July festivities. Featuring:

  • Chandon Blanc de Noir, CA – Made only from dark skinned grapes, this sparkling white is full-bodied and fruit-filled tasting of cherry, currants and strawberry with a soft, lingering creamy texture. Pairs well with most things, from rich cheeses and deserts to seafood, spicy foods and roasted meats and veggies
  • Chemistry Pinot Gris, OR – This crisp white from Willamette balances tropical fruit flavours (think papaya) with a touch of citrus and wet riverstone finish. Great to sip on its own but also pairs well with grilled fish, chicken and veggies; salads, and pasta dishes
  • Avalon Cabernet, CA – This Napa Cab reveals layers of red cherries and blackberries, backed by vanilla and toasted oak for an expressive red that’s not too overpowering in the summer heat. Pairs well with grilled burgers, steak or ribs; rich roasted veggies (mushrooms, squash), cheeses and more

Tasting: $12
