Let’s Go Argentina!

argentinaThis Tuesday Tasting (Nov 12) we take a trip to the tip of South America to taste three unique and delicious wines. Featuring:

  • Domaine Bousquet Chardonnay – This Chablis-style chardonnay from the Mendoza estate of 4th-generation French winemakers is made from organic grapes grown at 4,000 ft above sea level. The result ? Vibrant fruit flavours balanced by tart green apple, a hint of spice and a surprising touch of creaminess for an unoaked chard. $13 btl, $6 btg
  • Del Mono Tinto – This bright, bold blend of Syrah and Malbec is made by the Michelini Brothers (famous their very modern, and tasty!, approach to winemaking) and it shows in this biodynamically farmed wine: rich red and black berry flavours combine with plum and a touch of earth, spice and minerality in this beautifully balanced wine. $14 btl, $7 btg
  • Dona Paula Black Label – This blend of Malbec, Cabernet and Petit Verdot has been earning rave reviews for good reason: smooth and flavorful tasting of currants, blueberries, and roasted red peppers, it’s an elegant mouthful from start to finish. $16 btl, $7 btg

Tasting: $12
