Our Oct 21 tasting features several great wines for a great cause. If you aren’t familiar with HandCraft Wines, they are a beautiful selection of California wines grown from Italian varietals. But just as important, the founder has a strong personal and corporate commitment to supporting breast cancer awareness. Over the last two years, HandCraft has donated more than $200,000 to breast cancer research, awareness and prevention in addition to supporting Walk for the Cure and launching HandCraft Cares and HandCraft Heroes.
For this tasting, we’ll be featuring three of their wines. Firehouse Wine Bar will also be donating $5 of each tasting to the Making Strides Against Breast Cancer South Alabama Walk taking place on Oct 25. So come on down and raise your glass to toast to health and happiness!
Featured HandCraft Wines:
- Chardonnay—This award-winning chardonnay combines apple, peach, pear balanced by lemon and light oak to create a creamy mellow white smooth from start to finish.
- Pinot Noir—A light, bright, fruit-forward red tasting of cherry, vanilla and strawberry.
- Petite Sirah—A more full-bodied, jammy red, with hints of blueberry, plum and pepper.
Flight of three: $13 (Note: $5 of each tasting will be donated to the charity event noted above)
