With Memorial Day weekend right around the corner, what better way to celebrate the start of the summer season than with 3 fun, fruity sparklings? Featuring:
- Anne Amie “Cuvee Amrita”, Oregon – This lively Oregon sparkling is made from 6 different white grapes (Riesling, Pinot Blanc, Muller Thurgau, Viognier, Chard and Gewurtz) that are hand sorted and whole-cluster fermented in stainless steel to highlight the bright fruit flavors: tart, tropical fruits like kiwi and passionfruit are complemented by berry and floral notes with a hint of ginger spice. $15 btl, $7 btg
- Ultraviolet Sparkling Rose, Napa Valley, CA – The name says it all! Big and bold, this sparkling rosé made from Cab Franc has aromas of lemon blossoms and strawberry, and tastes of tart berries, cherries, peach and orange with a touch of ruby red grapefruit and minerality on the finish. $18 btl, $8 btg
- Lunato Lambrusco, Italy – Hailing from the Emilia-Romagna region of Italy (the area surrounding Bologna), Lambruscos are sparkling reds made from the fruit-forward red grape of the same name and a great choice for warm weather: served chilled and slightly frizzante, flavors of red berries, cherries and floral notes make a great accompaniment to outdoor dining and beach days. $12 btl, $6 btg
Tasting: $11
Paired with: Peri-Peri Shrimp Flatbread $8
