Weekly Wine Flight: Tues, Jun 29 – Thurs, Jul 1

This week we continue our tour of European wines perfect for warm weather with a blush, bubbly and crisp white. Featuring:

  • Las Campanas Rosé, Navarra, Spain – This delicate blush grown along the northern coast of Spain is made from 100% hand-picked Garnacha fermented under cold temperatures to highlight the delicate fruit flavors of the grape; the result is a soft, elegant blush tasting of peach, red berries, and blood orange with a clean finish. $12 btl, $6 btg
  • Aveleda Vinho Verde, Portugal – Made from two classic grapes of Vinho Verde (Loureiro and Alvarinho) this light, bright white is packed with fruit flavors of apple, lemon and pear with a minerally aftertaste and touch of effervescence. $11 btl, $5 btg
  • Francois Crochet “Les Perrois”, Loire Valley, France – Grown right across the river from Sancerre, this 100% Sav Blanc was a unique and tasty find: packed with the salinity and minerality that makes the region famous, it highlights the flavors of the grape (white peach, nectarine and apricot) while being surprisingly restrained with its citrus and acid notes. $18 btl, $8 btg
