This week* we try 3 Cabs from 3 very different regions. Featuring:
- Vendeval Reserve Cab, Chile – This light, easy drinking Cab from the Maipo Valley (known as “The Bordeaux of South America”) is filled with red and black fruit flavors with a hint of cedar and earth. $12 btl, $6 btg
- Glenelley Glass Collection, South Africa – This Cabernet from Stellenbosch reflects a New World take on the varietal with rich aromas of cherry and a hint of chocolate – fruit forward flavors of ripe black berries combine with baking spices in this juicy yet smooth red. $21 btl, $9 btg
- Villa des Anges Cabernet, Languedoc, France – This rich Cab from Languedoc is lightly oaked to create a layered red with notes of black cherry, blackberry and currant, spices (cumin and coriander) and hints of red pepper, tobacco and earth. *Vegan/Sustainable $14 btl, $7 btg
