This Tuesday Tasting we try three flavorful French red blends that are perfect for spring. Featuring:
- Domaine Marion Pral Morgan Beaujolais – This medium bodied, fruity red is an example of Beajoulais at its best: made from 100% Gamay tasting of blackberry and peaches this is a soft velvety mouthful with a surprisingly mineral finish. $19 btl/$9 btg
- Jardin de Ruth Cotes du Rhone – This red from southern Rhone is predominately made of Grenache with a hint of Syrah to create a rich ruby red tasting of cherry and raspberry with a soft, elegant finish. $12 btl/$6 btg
- Chateau de Saint Cosme Cotes du Rhone – On the other end of the Cotes du Rhone spectrum, this 100% Syrah tastes of darker, richer fruits (blueberry, blackberry) with a hint of truffle and a spicy finish. $15 btl/$7 btg
