French Flights & Summer Whites

This Tuesday Tasting we try 3 unique white grapes from France perfect for summer sipping! Featuring:

  • Moulin De Gassac Picpoul de Pinet, Languedoc – This crisp white grape (Picpoul) is grown near  the oyster beds  of the Mediterranean, and the flavor reflects that: melon and citrus are balanced by a touch of brine and mineral making it a perfect pairing for seafood and evenings by the bay! $14 btl, $7 btg
  • Belleruche Blanc, Cotes du Rhone – This well-rated Grenache Blanc (a mutation of the red Grenache grape) balances both fruit and full-bodied flavor tasting of green apple, tropical fruit, with a hint of white blossoms and citrus. $13 btl, $6 btg
  • Le Paradou Viognier, Languedoc – This 100% Viognier is receiving high rankings from critics for a reason:  it’s a classic example of the full-bodied white grape, tasting of white peach and lychee with a clean mineral finish at an affordable price point. $12 btl, $6 btg

Tasting: $10
