This Tuesday Tasting we take a tour of the Chilean Coast, trying three different varietals from the land of fire and ice. Featuring:
- Santa Digna Carmenere Reserva, Central Valley—Referred to as the “lost grape of Bordeaux”, this unique red tastes of cranberry, green pepper and black pepper with a dry, dusty finish. $6 btg, $13 btl
- Casas Del Bosque Cabernet Sauvignon Reserva, Maipo Valley—This critically acclaimed cab delivers a rich mouthful of rum and raisin with a touch of espresso and cedar on the finish. $7 btg, $16 btl
- Botalcura Cabernet Franc Reserva, Curico Valley—A big inky red, this wine is hand picked then lightly oaked to create a full-bodied wine tasting of black cherries, tobacco, roasted red pepper and a touch of fresh baked bread. $8 btg, $17 btl
