The Mobile Police Department responded to reports of a shooting on Macks Street on Wednesday, March 6, 2024, around 11:42 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found a 13-year-old victim in the front yard with a gunshot wound.
The victim was taken to the hospital but unfortunately passed away due to their injuries. This incident is currently under active homicide investigation, and further details will not be disclosed at this time to maintain the integrity of the ongoing inquiry.
