Moses Moody Opens Up About an Unclear Role

This season has brought a mix of experiences for Moses Moody.

The Golden State Warriors player has averaged 7.9 points and 3 rebounds per game, playing a crucial role in the team’s second unit on occasions.

However, there have been times when he hasn’t seen much playing time, relegated to the bench as the team pushes forward without him.

“All my friends are in that space where they’re leaving college, trying to figure out life. Everybody’s going through different adversities. Who am I to think I should have an easy road to whatever I want?” Moody said.

In a conversation with Anthony Slater of The Athletic, Moody discussed the ups and downs of his role within the team.

Moody’s current mindset is both positive and beneficial, especially considering he’s spending a career-high 17.1 minutes on the court per game this season.

While head coach Steve Kerr hasn’t leaned on Moody as heavily as he has on other young players like Jonathan Kuminga and Brandin Podziemski, it appears the 21-year-old has come to terms with this reality and is ready to fulfill whatever role the team requires.
