The Big Petite

petitesirahThe little grape that packs a big punch is back! This Tuesday Tasting we try three California Petite Sirahs that deliver rich, flavorful mouthfuls with every sip. Featuring:

  • Concanon – This Central Coast vineyard is a critic’s favorite for its fruit-forward Petite Sirahs: bright red, black and blue berries combine into a long fruity red filled with touches of spice and herbs and a not-too-dry finish.
  • Maggio –  Hints of fig, fine cocoa, and licorice, combine in this rich Lodi red filled with dark berry flavors and a dry dusty finish.
  • Plungerhead – Blackberry, blueberry and caramel combine in another rich Lodi red that’s layered with hints of smoky oak, dried tobacco and a touch of earth.

Tasting: $11
