Professional Life and Hobbies

Betty worked for Rubberset Corporation in Crisfield for 23 years before retiring to become a homemaker. She was a dedicated member of Christ Fellowship Bible Church in Marion. In her leisure time, Betty enjoyed watching The Young and the Restless, tending to her yard, and admiring her garden. She found joy in sitting on her front porch, watching hummingbirds, and spending quality time with her family.

Cherished Family Moments

Betty’s greatest joy was her family. She delighted in preparing meals for them and their friends, and she especially cherished dining out with them at Tokyo Steakhouse. Betty is survived by her sons, Danny Tyler and Harvey Tyler, and her daughter Ellen Ann Daisey. She also leaves behind three grandchildren, Christen Leigh Tyler, Carl William Tyler, and Charles Danny “Charlie” Tyler, as well as three great-grandchildren. Betty had a special bond with her “adopted” granddaughters and was beloved by numerous nieces and nephews in North Carolina and Maryland.

Final Farewell and Interment

Funeral services for Betty L. Tyler will take place on Saturday, August 16, 2014, at three o’clock in the afternoon at Christ Fellowship Bible Church in Marion, with Reverend Steve Willing presiding. An open house will be held at Bradshaw & Sons Funeral Home on Friday evening from seven to nine o’clock. Betty will be laid to rest at Memorial Park at Sunnyridge.
